Natan Gofman (Kashatey Nof HaGalil) wrapped up the competition in Taiwan with a silver medal in the 50+ category!
The World Masters Games are a major multi-sport event held every few years (previously every 4, now every 2), with over 25,000 participants across all sports — and this was the first edition since 2017!
Natan ranked second after the qualification round with 600 points. In the elimination rounds, he delivered an impressive performance, winning 6-0, 6-0, and 6-2 against the 15th, 7th, and 6th seeds. He eventually faced the top seed from Taiwan — an Olympic archer from 1996 — and lost 0-6 in the final.
What a proud moment!
